Mowogo lodge has found great success in 2021. In 2021, we welcomed in over 150 new members, with over 100 being at Spring Fellowship. At the time of the event, Spring Fellowship was the largest pandemic ordeal event in the nation, and although some changes were made to comply with pandemic regulations, the event was a fantastic success. The excitement from Spring Fellowship pushed us towards an amazing Conclave at Camp Patten in South Georgia, where Mowogo won the quest events. At Pre-camp, we welcomed back the entire lodge for fellowship. The work done at these two events was essential to getting Camp Rainey Mountain ready for the summer camp season. After this, the Ani-Gatogewi chapter held their Indian Summer event, providing much needed work to Camp Rotary. Then, we held our Pow-Wow event, welcoming brothers from across our lodge for a weekend of fellowship and fun. It was at this event that we held our lodge officer elections, as well as our Competition for the Black Bear. Finally, we held our Lodge Leadership retreat, where our new and old lodge and chapter officers got together to plan for 2022.
Ultimately, Mowogo Lodge had an amazing year in 2021, and we are looking forward to continuing an amazing year in 2022. Mowogo has some big things in its near future, and although 2021 was truly a fantastic year for Mowogo, it is my firm belief that 2022 will be even better. We have an amazing momentum behind us that will truly allow us to make 2022 the year of the black bear!
Yours in Brotherhood,
Jacob A. Ball
